Reconstructions of earlier GTA maps are a popular argument for the credibility of GTA VI fan maps. However, separate evidence is still required for individual locations.

What we know.
Past successes are only of limited help.
Looking back at the GTA V mapping project shows why fans have faith in collaborative reconstructions. Previous trailers and screenshots revealed important spatial relationships even before the game's release. This experience explains the attention given to the current project, but it doesn't provide measurable accuracy for GTA VI.
An accuracy figure needs a defined basis: Are streets, buildings, or the outer contour being counted? Individual confirmed hits are more comprehensible than a general percentage for the entire map.
That's how we classify it.
Community attribution is not official confirmation. A visible object does not automatically prove its usability or final name.

Empty spaces indicate a lack of evidence.
Unlabeled areas on a fan map initially indicate gaps in knowledge. This does not necessarily mean that the finished game world will remain empty in those areas.
Maps change with new images
The mapping community is constantly revising locations, outlines, and place names. Therefore, older maps should always be shown with their version number.
