A code needs more than one statement.
A keyboard shortcut mentioned in a post is a clue, not conclusive proof. Before an entry is marked as verified, the input and its effect must be reproducible on a specifically named version of the game. Clear documentation makes the result usable for other players.
This text describes the planned editorial process. It does not claim that tests have already been conducted in GTA 6.
This information is part of every test.
- Platform and game version: PS5, Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S, supplemented by the actual version number.
- Initial state: In which game mode and under which conditions was the test conducted?
- Exact input: What steps were performed, and in what order?
- Observed effect: What changed noticeably, and could the result be replicated?
- Test date and source: When was the audit conducted, and where did the original tip come from?
What a suitable image should show
Later, photographic evidence will be provided to demonstrate the specific effect. A decorative vehicle illustration does not prove vehicle cheating. A picture alone also does not prove the corresponding input; for that, a comprehensible test description or supplementary video evidence is needed.
Original recordings are required for publication. Their use and any potential commercial integration must be checked beforehand in accordance with applicable rights and terms. Screenshots, trailer images, and logos from other sources will not be used without permission.
Investigate side effects separately
A visibly functioning effect doesn't answer any questions about trophies, achievements, missions, or game saves. A test must state its limitations. What wasn't tested remains marked as open.
A patch can change the outcome
The "tested" label refers to a specific version and platform. If a subsequent update changes the code, the entry must be updated accordingly or marked as requiring retesting. A blanket "always works" is not a meaningful quality standard.
No fabricated evidence
Until a test is available, codes remain unpublished. Images on the homepage are explicitly our own illustrations and not game evidence. You can find the current lists at PS5 and Xbox.
