THE RECEIPT
What we know.
The first public glimpse of Leonida
Trailer 1 is the starting point of the official GTA VI reveal. The accompanying newswire text names Leonida as the state and Vice City as part of this larger setting. This made it clear from the very first presentation that the game's location would extend beyond a single city.
The original announcement included a now-historical release window. For research purposes, this information belongs in the chronology, while current dates must be taken from later announcements. As a visual source, the trailer also serves as an early point of comparison for later designs: changes in image selection or detail recognition should be documented with the exact time.
