Diving and cave diving
Underwater exploration is described in the game preview and demo reports.
Activities / GTA VI
Explore the underwater world
Marine fauna and diving reports make the coast a topic for exploration in its own right.
THE RECEIPT
What we know.
What the research proves
Game Informer's Animal Preview describes a fauna that also includes the sea.

More than just a look beneath the surface
The underwater world is our exploration focus here, not a confirmed mission mode in its own right. The connection between coastal regions, observable animals, and navigation while diving is of interest. An animal sighting is recorded with a photo and location; this does not yet constitute a hunting mission or collection objective.
What belongs in the guide later
For a reliable overview, we lack specific starting points, achievable depths, and a list of finds. Once this information is verifiable, we can add short routes and equipment recommendations. Until then, please also see the separate entries for dolphins and diving.
That's how we classify it.
This entry is based on a published preview or media analysis. Descriptions may change before publication.
