M249-like machine gun

Weapon type, photographic evidence and model question

The M249-like machine gun is listed by GTABase as "Combat MG". The M249 SAW serves as the real-world design reference; the details page cites Trailer 2 as the source of the sighting. The entry therefore refers to a recognizable machine gun design in published promotional material and not to an actual measured comparison of the weapon.

The page links the model to previous GTA games and lists known magazine capacities, while GTA VI statistics are still pending. These figures therefore remain outside the VI database. Player availability, price, and final weapon name are still subject to separate confirmation.
