Dre'Quan Priest
Music entrepreneur with big plans for Only Raw Records.
THE RECEIPT
What we know.
From street sales to own label
Dre'Quan wants to make music his profession. His background in street vending is described as a means to finance this dream, while he doesn't primarily see himself as a gangster. Together with Boobie Ike, he runs Only Raw Records, combining artistic goals with the financial resources of an established partner.
With the signing of Real Dimez, this project is taking on a more concrete form. Previously, Dre'Quan booked gigs for Boobies Club; now his focus is shifting more towards the wider Vice City music scene. The interesting conflict lies between his previous local work and his desire for a real breakthrough.
